Valentine’s Day is next week and finding the right venue to celebrate your love for one another can be quite stressful. If you still haven’t made any reservations and are looking for a spectacular meal, we have three recommendations with a winning combination of ambience, food and service.

Corner House

This charming One-Star Michelin restaurant is nestled amongst the lush greenery of the Botanic Gardens. Set in a classic two-storey black and white bungalow, the space is divided into the Reading Corner, Claret Corner, Whispering Corner, and The Verandah. Each serves a specific purpose and exudes their own unique quaintness. The Claret Corner for instance, houses the restaurant’s finely stocked wine cellar while the Reading Corner on the first storey lounge features a bookshelf with a selected collection of literary works.

Chef Jason Tan, who has many accolades to his name, serves a more worldly inspired gastronomic cuisine. Blending the best of east and west, his creations are eclectically flavourful and this Valentine’s, he has curated a special lunch menu just for the occasion.

The 4-course meal consisting of delicacies like Japanese toro belly and Australian wagyu beef cheek with black truffles amongst other dishes are sure to delight your palate.
