Produced as a limited edition of the NOMOS Glashütte worldtimer Zürich Weltzeit, the NOMOS RED DOT is a single watch that knows the time zones better than most know their own back pocket. This exceptional timepiece from Glashütte is now available exclusively at The Hour Glass and Watches of Switzerland.

To mark the second anniversary of the cooperation between The Hour Glass and NOMOS Glashütte, the independent German watchmaking company has crafted 50 of these special limited edition watches: 35 of which come with a NOMOS’ classic white silver-plated dial, while another 15 are available with a new salmon-colored dial. Within this limited edition, Singapore has its own place on the dial’s city disk—and it contains a further reference to the Southeast Asian city state, also known as the “Little Red Dot”: Wherever the watch’s wearer happens to be, the little red dot on the right side of the dial shows what time it is at home.

The sapphire crystal glass back presents a view of the fine mechanical movement that ticks at heart of the watch: the NOMOS automatic caliber DUW 5201, developed and constructed in-house in Glashütte, Germany. The movement knows (nearly) every time zone in the world—and in a particularly beautiful form: A subtle button on the case, a small time disk, and the red icon on the dial are all this watch requires to make travelling elegant and wonderfully easy.
