To facilitate the growth of the FinTech industry in Singapore, a one-stop innovation hub has been established at 80 Robinson Road. The “80RR FINTECH HUB SG” (80RR) is a space measuring 100,000 square feet dedicated to housing the international and local FinTech community startups and companies. In conjunction with last week’s FinTech Festival, a contemporary show unit was previewed to provide insights into the future spaces available at 80RR.

Presently, the current spaces on Levels 8 and 9 in the building offer three categories of rental—hotdesking, designated desks and designated offices. This prime venue will proffer additional space specifically catered for the fast-growing FinTech community of varying sizes and growth stages, be it start-up companies, those with plans to extend their current leases and those who wish to expand to larger areas on the higher floors.

“We are very excited to facilitate the growth of the rapidly evolving FinTech sector by offering innovative spaces at competitive market rates to start-ups and other FinTech companies. The idea and opportunity to create a thriving FinTech ecosystem at 80RR presented itself after talks with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Singapore FinTech Association (SFA),” said a spokesman for 80RR.

“A vibrant and collaborative office space is a key infrastructure for our FinTech ecosystem. MAS is happy to work with Hong Leong Holdings Limited (HLH) and Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) to provide FinTech start-ups and companies with a dedicated and conducive environment at 80RR to accelerate collaboration and partnerships amongst FinTech players,” said Mr Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief FinTech Officer for MAS.

80RR FINTECH HUB SG is housed in the 28-storey 80 Robinson Road, which stands at the junction of Robinson Road and Boon Tat Street. Its set in the heart of the financial district, located very close to the Marina Financial Centre and the MAS Building. It is also conveniently serviced by all major forms of transport and is within walking distance to Telok Ayer MRT Station and Raffles Place MRT Station.
