Regus Opens New Location, Becoming Singapore’s Largest Flexible Workspace Provider
The world’s leading workspace provider Regus announced the opening of a new location in Vision Exchange, a premier commercial building at Singapore’s second CBD in Jurong East. The new location will add to Regus’ existing network of 30 locations in Singapore, making it the largest flexible workspace provider in the market with a total office space of 385,000 sq ft (equivalent to six football pitches).
Spanning the entire 24th floor of Vision Exchange, Regus’ new location occupies close to 25,000 sq ft and will offer over 100 drop-in and private office spaces for companies and individuals who demand an exceptional work flexibility in Singapore and across Regus’ global network of offices, co-working and meeting spaces in 3,300 locations across 110 countries around the globe.
Ahead of the official launch of the new location, Regus has already leased 20 percent of its Vision Exchange space to several major tenants who are looking to relocate to Jurong or expand their existing offices in the new CBD. There has also been interest in the pipeline from companies in the innovation-driven, financial services, infrastructure development as well as maritime services sectors.
Commenting on the opening of a new location, Betül Genc, Country Manager of Regus Singapore, said the increased appetite for flexible workspaces has fueled the expansion of Regus in Singapore and is a testament to a more connected global workforce. “Regus has operated in Singapore for almost 20 years and we’ve witnessed the shift in the workplace culture towards collaboration and increasing productivity and innovation among workers. The demand for flexible working options e.g. pay-as-you-go offices, virtual offices and drop-in business lounges has fueled Regus expansion in the market as more Singapore businesses recognise the financial and strategic advantages of a flexible workspace strategy—cutting real estate costs, allowing companies to concentrate on their core business and securing the best talent.”
Regus’ new centre at Vision Exchange will add to its existing network of 30 locations across the prime business districts in Singapore, including Raffles Place, Robinson Road, Collyer Quay, One Fullerton, City Hall, Paya Lebar and Orchard Road.
Vision Exchange is a 25-storey integrated office development located in Jurong East. Each storey offers 25,000 square feet of premium grade office space. Amenities surrounding the building include Jurong East MRT Station, bus interchange, designated bicycle parking spaces and the International Business Park, which offers medical facilities, various shopping malls and restaurants. In line with the Singapore government’s vision to transform Jurong into Singapore’s second CBD, Jurong Gateway is envisaged to be the “District of the Future” that will power the growth of new companies.
