Bang & Olufsen has unveiled BeoVision Eclipse Wood Edition, the latest variant of the world’s best sounding TV.

BeoVision Eclipse Wood Edition is designed by award-winning Torsten Valeur, David Lewis Designers, and comes with a handmade speaker cover in oak to add elegance, warmth and high-end craftmanship to any interior. The new design delivers proof of how beautifully warm oak complements the expression of the razor-thin display and the sleek aluminium elements, while at the same time honouring the long-standing Bang & Olufsen tradition of using wood in the product design.

Senior Concept Lead from Bang & Olufsen Kresten Bjørn Krab-Bjerre says, “We feel obliged to keep innovating the use of a material that has played an integral part in our products since 1925. Oak is a material that patinates beautifully, and by adding this option to our flagship TV we reinforce our commitment to provide people with the flexibility to match our designs to their personal interior style.”

Merging the best of two worlds

BeoVision Eclipse combines Bang & Olufsen’s design, craftmanship and acoustic capabilities with LG Electronics’ technological leadership on OLED TV technology including their webOS and 4K video processing capabilities. The TV’s integrated, 450-watt 3-channel SoundCentre offers stereo performance and centre channel control, surpassing most integrated solutions and soundbars on the market. With built-in internet radio and music streaming services, BeoVision Eclipse becomes a music system in its own right.

The motorized floor stand sets BeoVision Eclipse further apart. With the push of a button, the TV moves soundlessly across the floor as if it was floating towards you. No matter where you are seated, the TV can always be adjusted to your position, modifying not only the viewing experience, but the entire decoration of the room. In addition to the motorized floor stand, BeoVision Eclipse can be wall mounted with a motorized or manual bracket.
