Devialet Phantom Reactor Has a New Matte Black Look
Devialet has unveiled a new, matte black version of its Phantom Reactor ultra-compact speaker. The result of a year’s design efforts, the speaker’s sharp matte finish is achieved with an aqueous solution, creating a soft touch and a smooth finish capable of handling intense power and pressure.
Devialet’s high expectations for quality, combined with specific acoustic requirements, meant overcoming some very technical challenges to achieve the final matte black colour. Each material layer is separately coated with the finish to achieve flawless colour rendering.
The speaker delivers unprecedented power with zero distortion, saturation or background noise, fully immersing you in your favourite music, movies and games and letting you experience sound as it should be heard. More than ever before, the Phantom Reactor disappears into your surroundings but it still promises a thrilling audio experience.
In addition to Devialet’s 160 existing patents in acoustic and mechanical engineering, a further 11 patents have contributed to the Phantom Reactor’s disruptive design, allowing for powerful sound from an impossibly compact package (it is less than 22cm long and under 17cm tall).
The Phantom Reactor 600 and 900 in Matte Black retails at SGD 1,890 and SGD 2,390 respectively, and is available in Singapore at the Devialet stores at ION Orchard and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands; and through authorised dealers at ATLAS Sound & Vision and Audio Note.
